Another pop culture recommendation from Uncle Skippy to you. Battlestar Galactica on Sci-Fi is just a brilliant program and it is in its last season as the colonists try to make it to Earth ahead of the cylons. Why the cylons won't just kill them all on Earth, I'm not sure, but there it is.
